In addition, Phi Alpha Delta (PAD), Missouri State University's pre-law fraternity, welcomes students from all academic disciplines who are interested in law school or legal careers. Missouri State's chapter holds the distinction of being the first national undergraduate chapter of Phi Alpha Delta. Throughout the year, PAD offers LSAT preparation sessions, presentations by law school admissions representatives, résumé and personal statement workshops, networking opportunities with attorneys and judges, and a variety of other professional development activities.
Beginning in the 2026–2027 academic year, students will also have the opportunity to participate in Lambda Kappa Epsilon (LKE), an interdisciplinary society dedicated to the study of law, compliance, and ethics. The organization will complement existing pre-law opportunities by bringing together students from across the university who are interested in the law, law school and legal careers, but also those interested in corporate governance, compliance, regulatory affairs, and public policy. Through distinguished speakers, panel discussions, educational programming, and professional networking, Lambda Kappa Epsilon will provide students with opportunities to explore the rapidly evolving legal and regulatory environment affecting business, government, and society.
